X FACTOR 2016 BEST AUDITIONS

It was another superb year of auditions on X Factor in 2016. Do we think the judges made the right choices? Here are our top ten auditions.

X FACTOR UK 2016
TOP 10 AUDITIONS

10 A confident Scottish bloke can sometimes mean disaster, but for Garry Grieg it definitely didn't. The window fabricator did a superb rendition of Signed Sealed Delivered by Stevie Wonder.
09 To watch a couple audition is always cute, especially when they finish each other's sentences! He Knows She Knows sung Love Yourself by Justin Bieber, and their soft voices ensured a nice ending for all involved.
08 "Come on wee man!", is all I got from this audition, the supporting family members were lovely. To be fair James Hughes totally blew the judges away with his soulful voice which made a Etta James' song both beautiful and powerful.
07 This is how you do a confident audition! Matt Terry smiled throughout his two minutes of fame whilst singing Stand By Me from Ben E King. We even got a sneak peak at the family members singing along.
06 Josh and Kyle returned to X Factor as The Brooks this year. They failed at Louis's judges house in 2014. They provided an upbeat version of Naughty Boy's Runnin but it was their antics away from the camera which ruined the pairs chances.
05 5 After Midnight aka 5AM came from various locations throughout the UK, and this really helps their tone. One Dance by Drake was a risky choice but their confidence ensured an easy passage to the next rounds. Their flips in the audition room was also something to behold!
04 Sia's Chandelier is a powerful song, without the right vocals it could be a perfect audition tune. Saara Aalto flew from the Finland to get to the judges, but she proved her talent after a faultless performance.
03 After failing at the Six Chair Challenge in 2014 with Simon. Janet Grogan tone was perfect for a song by former X Factor contestant, Zayn Malik from One Direction. Her soft voice and slight nerves were superb together.
02 Samantha Lavery sung Explosions by Ellie Goulding. The constant upsurge in vocal strings would be difficult for any singer, but Sam passed the challenge with ease and provided one of the best auditions from this year. As she thumped out the chorus, I thought I may have found the winner of this year.
01 I'm still in shock that Simon decided to eliminate this girl from Judges Houses. Kayleigh Marie Morgan was my favourite audition by quite a destance. Her emotional song choice was justified. You from Ghost The Musical is a lovely song, but Kayleigh took it to that next level.
