The Rook

Myfanwy Thomas wakes up in the rain with no memory of who she is. She is beside London's Millenium Bridge and around a circle of dead bodies.

She soon discovers that she is a high-ranking official in a secret service for people who have paranormal abilities. Will Myfanwy ever find out who wiped her memory and why?

The series has been produced by Lionsgate and Liberty Global. It aired for the first time in America on June 30 and is based on the book by Daniel O'Malley.


Charles I

Channel: BBC Four
Genre: History
Starring: Lisa Hilton
Begins: Tuesday 9 July

A visit to Charles I's reign which collapsed during 50 disastrous days. A civil war is on the horizon, the King will lose power and he will ultimately be beheaded.

The story looks at his fight with John Pym, leader of the House of Commons. Pym has been secretly plotting to try and limit Charles's power, but it feuds a fight which will create a split across the country.



L.A.'s Finest

Written by Brandon Margolis and Brandon Sonnier, L.A.'s Finest is a spin off to the Bad Boys film franchise.

Syd Burnett has left her complicated past behind her to become an LAPD detective, being partnered alongside Nancy McKenna. The duo must now face off against bad guys whilst keeping their own personal lives in check.

They soon become a force to be reckoned with - on the streets and in each other's lives.



8 Days

A feature-length documentary which looks at the real story of the Apollo 11 mission. It has given us access to declassified cockpit audio and brings cutting-edge digital effects to help bring the audio journey to life.

The Boys

Genre: Superhero

Based on the comic book of the same name, which was written by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.

It follows a group who have banded together against corrupt superheroes. They'll be using no more than grit and the willingness to fight dirty.
