NEW SERIES ON TELEVISION
Das Boot (Sky Atlantic) - Series begins on Wednesdsay 6 February
Based as a sequel to the Das Boot film (1981) - this German-language series is set nine months afterwards and a joint production between Bavaria Fiction, Sky Deutschland and Sonar Entertainment.
It will follow the fall of 1942, as the tide begins to turn on the German's. It will show the war at sea, as seen through the eyes of the young U-boat crew.
The show will also see the French Resistance as the move forward on land.

Bite Club (Alibi) - Series begins on Wednesday 20 February
This show first appeared in Australia (August 2018) - but it's now arriving on UK television for the first time.
It's storyline is of two detectives (Dan and Zoe are lovers aswell) who have survived a shark attack.
Three years after the attack - the pair are now separated. The corpse of a murdered woman has turned up on a beach - so they join forces to hunt the ultimate predator and a serial killer.

Curfew (Sky One) - Series begins on Friday 22 February
How far would you go for freedom? Curfew asks this in a thrilling new series.
The series watches as challengers risk everything in the world's deadliest street race. The weaponized vehicles race between London to North Scotland.
So what is the prize? It is freedom from the government curfew that controls their current livelihoods.

Nightflyers (Netflix) - Streaming begins on Friday 1 February
America viewers have already seen this show on Syfy, but now it hits the UK via Streaming giant Netflix.
Set in 2093 on the eve of Earth's destruction, a team of scientists aim to contact alien lifeforms to try and save the planet. They trip on a ship named Nightflyer, but soon mysterious and destructive incidents begin to threaten their mission.
Sci-Fi starring Eoin Macken, David Ajala, Jodie Turner-Smith
The Umbrella Academy (Netflix) - Streaming begins on Friday 15 February
Following a dysfunctional family of superheroes, as they reunite to solve the mystery of their adoptive father's death.
The show itself (based on the comic series) has been in development since 2015, having originally been penned as a film. It will now appear as a 10-Episode series.
