Get ready to see some unsung daily heroes! Hard to Kill will show a Special Forces sniper as he learns how to and then takes on some of the toughest paid jobs.

Tim Kennedy will take on work such as triggering avalanches at altitude, protecting a cowboy from a bull and travelling to the Mojave Desert.

Watership Down (BBC One) Series begins on Saturday 22 December

This four-part animated series is a co-production between BBC and Netflix. It was produced by 42 and is a reinterpretation of the classic tale.

It follows a band of rabbits as they fight from the intrusion of man. Human's mean certain carnage to their home.

The rabbits go on an adventure, from their own Sandleford Warren towards the promised land. Though before they get there - they will met by various predators.

Les Misérables (BBC One) Series begins on Sunday 30 December

Another remake of Les Miserables - this time by our beloved BBC. It's been six years (yes six!) since the movie and we are now anticipating Andrew Davies's new adaptation.

It looks into Victor Hugo's 19th century story, specifically looking at Jean Valjean and Javert's.

We will also see the civil unrest in France, as the series looks at the struggles and triumphs of the poor. Expect to see the hard and at times troubled search for a better life.

Britain's Youngest Football Boss (BBC Three) -  Streaming begins on Wednesday 5 December

What would your parents say if you asked them 'will you buy me a football team'? Jack Sullivan did exactly that, and now at 19 - he's the Managing Director of West Ham United Women.

Castle Rock (StarzPlay) Streaming begins on Friday 14 December

Broadcast on Hulu in July, Castle Rock is finally appearing in the UK - thanks to StarzPlay (a channel available on Amazon Prime and Virgin Media).

This new show's name is a fictional town in Maine - which shows death row attorney Henry Deaver. He hasn't visited since his feather died in a mysterious accident. Though he is forced from cover after receiving a phone call from Shawshank Prison.

You asks what would somebody do for love? A bookstore manager answers that by using the internet and social media. He gathers intimate details and becomes obsessional. He even begins to remove obstacles in his way. Is there anything he won't do?

Discovery of Witches (aired on Sky One) - DVD arrives on Monday 3 December

A Sky Original Production from Bad Wolf - which is a love story set against Oxford life. Discovery of Witches shows a world where daemons, vampires and witches live - not seen by your normal human. They hide in plain sight, not showing their true selves.

Diana (witch) moves towards a dangerous mystery, which is Matthew (vampire). They go on a journey together, but soon the fragile peace could be about to get torn.

BBC described this show as a complex, character-driven thriller.
