NEW TV SERIES IN APRIL 2018 (UK)

Kiss Me First (Channel 4) Series begins on Monday 2 April

In an apparent television first, Kiss Me First is a thriller showing both live action and computer-generated virtual world sequences. It is based on Lottie Moggach's debut novel.

Leila stumbles across a hidden paradise, which is part on the edges of her favourite game - she meets Tess. Tess is self-indulgent, hasty and uncontrollable. So when Leila sees Tess in the real world uninvited and a member of the group mysteriously disappears, her world is about to be changed forever.

Thriller starring Tallulah Haddon, Simona Brown, Matthew Beard

The City & The City (BBC Two) Series begins on Friday 6 April

Another inspector drama, as a student is discovered in the sreets of Beszel. Inspector Tyador Borlú of the Extreme Crime Squad and Officer Lizbyet Corwi is called, with Borlú noticing similarities to an old case.

The young woman was from Ul Qoma, close to Beszel - but her body is found at the Bulkya Docks. The cities of Beszel and Ul Qoma have a dangerous and volatile relationship. Could this be related?

THE CITY AND THE CITY BBC2

The Resident (Universal) - Series begins on Tuesday 10 April

Medical series which follows a young doctor (Devon) during his last few years of training. Though he soon realises being a doctor isn't what he imagined.

It is aiming to reveal the truth of what really happens, both good and bad in hospitals.

Drama starring Matt Czuchry, Emily VanCamp, Manish Dayal

The Terror (AMC) Series begins on Thursday 26 April

Finally it's dropped! The Terror looks to be an intriguing true story, based on the Royal Navy's trip into unknown territory. The crew of the ship is aiming to discover the Northwest Passage.

Soon they find themselves in dangerous conditions, with no resources and dwindling hope. They are now frozen, alone and stuck.
